BE A CHILD AND FORGET GOD

I walk in and walk out,
Of a garden in full bloom.
Day in and day out,
A sweet burden is my class room.

All I meet and meet again,
Is warm greeting smile and joy.
Never a sign of stress or pain,
            Nor ever a moment I can’t enjoy.

Every eye and every face,
            Is radiant with heavenly grace.
Truth and joy is all I learn,
Amidst a world that’s gone insane.
On every face on every day,
Blooms a new premise sweet and gay.
Of a new world, a new day,
That sure, is not far away.
Where is heaven and where is God?
It is where the children trod.
Said a great soul, a human God,
Yet my little soul whispers, odd.
“Be a child and forget God.”
